Hello everyone!!! Following on from yesterday’s events, today has been a really good day for all of us, because more medals were won, and there were some funny takes on some athletes who slightly lost the grip in the snowboard slopestyle event.
To start, our GBR athlete Jenny Jones won a bronze in the snowboard event, while other athletes competing for countries such as Sweden, Austria and many more countries came out on top, this day has been great for all of us around the world, and will get even better as these next 2 weeks fly by. All these events have been great so far.
With some of the clips that the BBC presented on TV earlier today, some of the clips you could say were amusing as they showed all of us the funny bits that went wrong for some athletes, while other athletes gave it all they got.
These next 2 weeks will be full of determination and every country is willing to give it their all and aim for the highest amount of medals for this year’s Winter Olympic Games. We can all expect up’s and down’s from the Winter Olympic Games, but the best possible option to think about is knowing that all of us as a whole worldwide can re-live the Olympic spirit and enjoy a wonderful, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and experience the Olympic dream.
Today’s current medal results are:
Norway: 2 Gold, 1 Silver, 4 Bronze = 7 Medals
Netherlands: 2 Gold, 1 Silver, 1 Bronze = 4 Medals
United States: 2 Gold, 0 Silver, 2 Bronze = 4 Medals
Canada: 1 Gold, 2 Silver, 1 Bronze = 4 Medals

Austria: 1 Gold, 1 Silver, 0 Bronze = 2 Medals
Germany: 1 Gold, 0 Silver, 0 Bronze = 1 Medal
Poland: 1 Gold, 0 Silver, 0 Bronze = 1 Medal
Slovakia: 1 Gold, 0 Silver, 0 Bronze = 1 Medal
Switzerland: 1 Gold, 0 Silver, 0 Bronze = 1 Medal
Sweden: 0 Gold, 2 Silver, 0 Bronze = 2 Medals
Czech Republic: 0 Gold, 1 Silver, 1 Bronze = 2 Medals
Italy: 0 Gold, 1 Silver, 1 Bronze = 2 Medals
Finland: 0 Gold, 1 Silver, 0 Bronze = 1 Medal
Slovenia: 0 Gold, 1 Silver, 0 Bronze = 1 Medal
Great Britain: 0 Gold, 0 Silver, 1 Bronze = 1 Medal
Ukraine: 0 Gold, 0 Silver, 1 Bronze = 1 Medal
To conclude, the medal table results from today’s events have been great so far, and will hopefully get better, so these results should be a lot better tomorrow, and should hopefully get better and better over the next 2 weeks.
Thank you for reading this blog post.
