Hello everyone!!! Following yesterday’s events in Sochi, more medals are building up for every country on the medal leaderboards, and the medal results are set to get better as time goes by. The summary of today’s events were: Iouri Podladtchikov of Switzerland won Gold in the halfpipe event, the defending US champion Shaun White came fourth, Carina Vogt won the first-ever women’s ski jump Gold, GB’s women’s curlers set the record in a win over the USA, the GB men’s curlers beat Germany 7-6 in the final end and Team GB‘s Katie Summerhayes came seventh in the slopestyle ski final.

Overall, today’s medal build-up has been better, but could go the extra mile a little more to make sure all of us come out on top.

It’s the thought that counts
