IT’S ABOUT TIME! CRASH BANDICOOT 4 IS OFFICIAL!

After a lot of speculation, rumours and leaked artwork on social media which surrounded a possible new sequel/remaster in the franchise following a puzzle being sent to the media, game developers and YouTubers, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time has officially been announced!

Activision announced the news via the official Crash Bandicoot Twitter Account, and from the footage they just released, it appears that Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time follows on from the aftermath of the Time Twister Machine in Crash Bandicoot: Warped, in which Dr. Neo Cortex and Uka Uka were trapped in a timeless prison after the Time Twister Machine imploded.

It’s a welcome surprise and a perfect time to announce that the game will be revealed officially at 4:00 PM BST (British Summer Time)/8:00 AM PDT (Pacific Daylight Time) tomorrow as today marks exactly one year since the release of Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled, which combined the original levels from the 1999 release of Crash Team Racing, originally developed by Naughty Dog, with the original levels from the 2003 release of Crash Nitro Kart, originally developed by Vicarious Visions, in one ultimate package!

I’m excited considering it follows on after the critically acclaimed 2017 release of the Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy and it’ll be interesting to see the creative direction Activision has taken with Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time!

Are you excited for the official reveal?

Please let me know, I am eager to hear what you think 🙂
