What a crazy year it has been!
It doesn’t seem possible it’s the end of 2021; it’s been a year full of ups and downs, but a fun year full of exciting and fantastic opportunities!
It’s been one of the most productive year’s I’ve ever had as I published so much content, which made up for last year, but in the process, I’ve done more photoshoots this time around, and I’ve been able to attend a few exhibitions here and there safely with Covid restrictions in place.
This year has been the year for breaking my comfort zone and I’ve done that so much this year that I’ve changed mentally over the space of the last twelve months as I have a completely different mindset, and I’ve lost a lot of weight from going to the gym which has done wonders, and now I’ve introduced 25-30 minute Outdoor Walks into my workout routine and lost two stone as a result!
This is the determination I’ve had since I started going to the gym in May, and I’m so determined to smash my fitness goals in the New Year.
For one last time, I’ll take a look back at all the content published throughout 2021.
January 2021
1.1.2021 – 2021 started off on a quieter note, though I went on to explain that although this year will be different and understandably with a lot of chaos due to COVID still being around, I mentioned there was fresh hope with vaccinations being around the corner, and went on to announce information about the book I’ve been working on as I’ve been working on turning the mental health-inspired photography series, The Concept of Expression, in to a book, as I intended for the book to be half-photo, half-information-based so that it can not only inform, but inspire all of you, though I acknowledged that it would take quite some time to work on.
8.1.2021 – As 2020 opened our eyes to the reality of the pandemic, 2021 opened with a glimmer of hope; with three vaccines now approved, which sees us at the turning point of the pandemic, with light being at the end of the tunnel.
14.1.2021 – There are cloudy times ahead, but we’ll all get through this together!
15.1.2021 – We all may be going through a tough time with the pandemic, but let’s live life happy in our own bubble, and think of all the endless possibilities and opportunities we have, let’s seize each possibility and opportunity!
16.1.2021 – While there is a pathway out of the pandemic, it will be a long and bumpy road.
The best kind of feeling is knowing we’ve all got each other, and as long as we contact each other more and more virtually, whether it’s through video calling, by phone, by text or by email, life could eventually return to normal.
18.1.2021 – As the path to the end of the pandemic is in sight and may be a bumpy road ahead, it’s a good reason to branch to something new full of exciting opportunities!
Seize the moment! Seize the opportunities! Branch out of your comfort zone and try something new!
23.1.2021 – In what has been a different start to 2021 with the pandemic being a bumpy and long journey ahead, there’s hope, and we mustn’t forget the light at the end of the tunnel.
However long it may take, we’ll get through this, together!
26.1.2021 – While the misty nights symbolise the numbing feeling we feel as a result of the pandemic, the bright lights symbolise hope that the light is at the end of the tunnel and that we must follow the lights.
The glowing lights will help provide the hopeful feeling that we’re nearing the end of the pandemic and inching closer to normality, and while we’re all apart for now, we’ll be together soon!
27.1.2021 – The road ahead will be very quiet but overwhelmingly bumpy, but there’s hope on the other side of the rainbow as the vaccines will help provide the pathway to see us through to the eventual end of the pandemic.
I know there’s hope, and there is light, we’ve all got to stay strong for one another and share positive energy with one another to keep ourselves going because we all need each other now more than ever and it’s vital we stick together even when we’re apart.
29.1.2021 – The other side of the rainbow gives us all a hopeful and positive feeling that the end of the pandemic is in sight.
We’ll all get there and as long as we stay strong for each other and open up to one another, we’ll get there, and although it will take time, we’ll reach the end of the pandemic soon.

These are my five reasons why you should visit Piccadilly Circus; the fun atmosphere will make you want to come back for more!
23.7.2021 – If there’s anything I love about Jermyn Street is the perspective it provides; you have two ways of looking at this road.
The directions to the left and right and the straightforward path capture the beautiful essence of Jermyn Street and the buildings that surround it.
What I love about Jermyn Street is there’s more to the area than meets the eye; the structure of the buildings and the beautiful clear sky makes this road feel like a journey to the beautiful unknown.
From a beautiful street with a giant cinema consisting of the latest films to a road full of traffic, Regent Street sparkles in the beautiful sunny weather!
The best parts of Regent Street are the little shops nearby; you can purchase food and drinks, and they provide all the best quality delicacies you would want!
Under the beautiful sunny weather, Regent Street has its beauty; the landscape is filled with warmth and provides a layer of cool for anyone who loves a reason to chill out and enjoy the fun!
A month before the coronavirus pandemic began, I got Amy Winehouse’s eyes tattooed on my arm with her legendary trademark makeup by Jakki at Harlequin Tattoos, as her music resonated with me because her mental health, for me, played out entirely in the public eye.
It was eye-opening to hear her music as she documented her Back to Black album during a period of her life that was widely publicised.
Ten years on since her passing, I remember so vividly I was at home with my family after being off school for the last week of the term due to a cold.
25.7.2021 – Strolling down Waterloo Place in this beautiful weather is such an incredible feeling!
It’s so quiet, yet so full of peace and is terrific!
I love the sunny weather when it lights up Regent Street; it makes the place feel so welcoming and warming.
The warmth fills the place with a breeze to keep the street nice and cool, and a mixture of both makes it so enjoyable!
The best reason you should be in Regent Street is the scenery; the buildings capture that beautiful warmth, and the view is remarkable!
The warmth draws you in and makes you feel like the place is a second area to call home.
What’s fascinating about Regent Street is the beauty of the landscape; from a standard view, you see Regent Street for how it usually is, but on a closer look, there’s beauty in the landscape.
There is a personal feeling that Regent Street brings because there’s more to the buildings surrounding it, including the statues.
27.7.2021 – Fancy an unforgettable experience of a lifetime at the Sofitel Hotel?
Sofitel Hotel offers their relaxing award-winning spa with the best cuisines on offer at Wild Honey St. James’!
History is fascinating, especially in Regent Street; the Crimean War statues stand tall and silent, but they highlight the significance of how history has changed the way we see places and notable figures.
Pall Mall is a beautiful part of London; it’s a six-minute walk from Piccadilly Circus to Pall Mall, St. James’, and is a lovely area to visit!
Pall Mall is a beautiful place where you can scream and shout!
28.7.2021 – The thunderstorm left behind wonderful trails of raindrops, and in doing so, it created beautiful droplets of light!

Waterloo Place’s history is prominent as it documents the fallen of the Crimean War.
Being one of the first conflicts in which the military used modern technologies consisting of railways, telegraphs and explosive naval shells, The Crimean War was one of the first to be documented in photographs and written reports extensively.
Waterloo Place is sparkling; the sun’s shining and beams on the buildings below!
It’s so peaceful! You’d love soaking in the sun while strolling around Waterloo Place during the summertime!
31.7.2021 – It was a beautiful day out in Waterloo Place when I visited the area in April; there was a breeze in the air, and the warm weather in Waterloo Place gave me a reason to relax.
I’m fond of the warm weather wherever I go; it felt like Summer, at that point, already arrived, and the Spring season in April during that day was so beautiful and warm it felt like Summer began earlier than planned.
Pall Mall is a beautiful place to stroll through; I love the area for its beautiful landscape, the structure of the buildings, and the incredible scenery makes the site feel like home.
In April, as I passed through from Piccadilly Circus Station to get a glimpse of the landscape, Pall Mall struck me for its beauty; walking through the area is a good reason to lose yourself in the fun of it all.
Imagine getting an ultra-wide view of Waterloo Place?
Waterloo Place offers a full-scale view of the beautiful buildings; the scenery is extraordinary, and you will love what this place offers!
The Criterion Theatre’s full of glitz and glamour; it sparkles and dazzles with the best extravaganzas it has to offer!
From star-studded theatre shows to the extravagant stage lights, the stage is the place to be free!
August 2021
1.8.2021 – August kicked off on an exciting note as I mentioned that I had the last remainder of photographs from the 23rd April of Piccadilly Circus to publish while announcing that the first few photo-sets would finally go live on here that I’ve done over the last few months.
3.8.2021 – Want to satisfy your taste buds with the best food Hard Rock Cafe offers?
Come down to Piccadilly Circus and enjoy the tasty delicacies they sell! Curb those hunger pangs for all the best food they have in store!
It’s so peaceful in Coventry Street; the road isn’t busy, and the best feeling about it is walking up the road, knowing there’s a feeling of calm which relaxes me and puts my mind at ease.
Hotel Indigo on the corner of Leicester Street stands proud; it offers many reasons for you to enjoy your time in and around the place!
Lisle Street’s given everyone a reason to brunch and dance; The Slug & Lettuce serves brunches by day, but by night, it is a meet-up venue perfect for letting your hair down to dance!
5.8.2021 – It was a quiet day in Lisle Street; the path was peaceful, and walking through the street put me at ease.
Chinatown is a stunning part of London; the clear sunny days uncover the area’s beauty during the quiet hours.
Every lantern in Chinatown provides positivity!
It’s such a lovely feeling to get another perspective of Chinatown; the beauty of the landscape and the lanterns bring together the beauty of Chinatown.
7.8.2021 – The bright lights of the sunny weather brighten up the bigger lanterns; their size symbolises the joy of Chinatown, and with Soho known as the gay capital of the world second to New York, it’s a fun place to visit!
Shaftesbury Avenue is a beautiful place; it is gorgeous!
The best thing about walking through Wardour Street on a beautiful sunny day is the peaceful atmosphere.
The sun is shining; Shaftesbury Avenue’s in happy spirits, and everyone is enjoying the warm and peaceful atmosphere!
Music brings everyone together; Shaftesbury Avenue does that!
9.8.2021 – Shaftesbury Avenue has so much potential for success and is full of exciting opportunities!
Charing Cross Road is a beautiful place; it feels peaceful even during hectic periods of the day.
Charing Cross is a beautiful place booming with vibrance; it’s so colourful and exuberates bundles of fun!
There’s a beauty in Charing Cross Road; the beautiful scenery, the gorgeous buildings and the booming positive atmosphere of the landscape fill the place with fun and happy times!
Concluding my visit to Piccadilly Circus on the 23rd April, I took the opportunity to travel to Great Newport Street, and I was not disappointed!
22.8.2021 – Kicking off the first photoshoot for 2021, the first subject I’ve photographed for the series this year is Matt Luke Spike Taylor.
September 2021
1.9.2021 – It was a peaceful start to September and as Autumn was around the corner, what better way to make the most of the last of the Summer weather than to enjoy the best of the warm and breezy weather we had.
5.9.2021 – It was with great sadness to announce the devastating news that Sarah Harding of Girls Aloud passed away at 39, coming over a year after she opened up in August 2020 about her breast cancer diagnosis during the pandemic.
10.9.2021 – It’s so peaceful and warm when the day starts beautifully; that feeling of relaxation and comfort the beautiful weather brings first thing in the early hours of the morning is so refreshing.
11.9.2021 – Twenty years on from the day the world stood still, it’s a painful day in the United States of America’s history that everyone will never forget.
On September 11 2001, the world watched in horror as the North Tower of The World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan was struck by the first plane, American Airlines Flight 11, at 8:46 AM, which departed from Logan International Airport at 7:59 AM, followed by the South Tower, which was struck by the United Airlines Flight 175 at 9:03 AM, which left at 8:14 AM.
The 9/11 attacks were a series of four coordinated attacks by the militant terrorist group al-Qaeda, in which four commercial airlines which travelled from the northeastern of the United States were hijacked mid-flight by al-Qaeda terrorists.
American Airlines Flight 77, which departed from Dulles International Airport at 8:20 AM, was hijacked whilst over Ohio, and at 9:37 AM, crashed into the west side of the American Military Headquarters, The Pentagon, resulting in a partial collapse of the building’s side.
The final flight, United Airlines Flight 93 that departed at 8:42 AM from Newark International Airport, which attempted to fly in Washington, D.C.’s direction, was the only flight not to hit its intended target, which instead crashed into a field in Pennsylvania near Shanksville at 10:03 AM.
21.9.2021 – The weather was so peaceful; there was a feeling of calm in the air and the sunset ended the day beautifully.
I wanted to take this moment to pay tribute to Sarah Harding. She was a truly inspirational musician who inspired me just like the rest of Girls Aloud inspired me and she’ll forever live on in our hearts.
October 2021
1.10.2021 – It was a bit of a chilly start to the month considering Autumn arrived, and the next few weeks were set to be busier than usual while the fuel crisis was still in full swing.
2.10.2021 – I was inspired by Cheryl Tweedy’s album, Messy Little Raindrops, when I produced the photo of the raindrops on the glass, because every raindrop symbolised the beautiful mess of nature letting off steam.
4.10.2021 – Autumn is in full bloom; nature’s embracing the autumnal weather, and her beauty shines!
The beauty from this time of the year is nature’s ability to exuberate the autumnal glow.
5.10.2021 – The leaves from trees may fall, but the beauty of fall comes to the surface.
It’s a beautiful reason to break ground as Autumn uncovers nature’s beauty.
15.10.2021 – After six years, ADELE finally marks her return with her first single, Easy On Me, off her highly anticipated fourth studio album, 30, which releases on the 19th November, coming six years after the release of her third studio album, 25!
31.10.2021 – It’s been an eventful few weeks as my mum, who recently underwent total left knee replacement surgery, returned to the hospital a few weeks later after one of the stitches burst. A few days after returning home, despite the excellent progress mum made using the zimmer frame unassisted, she suffered two nasty falls, with the second fall causing her to fall awkwardly which, in the process, dislocated and broke her right ankle.
November 2021
1.11.2021 – It was a bit of a cold start to the month; with firework night on the way, it was all the more of a reason to enjoy the moment considering the days were getting darker quicker following the clocks going back an hour.
3.11.2021 – The reflections of the clouds on the glass; the sky’s reflection on the windows open us to a world of endless possibilities!
5.11.2021 – After over a week in the hospital, mum finally came home!
14.11.2021 – It may be cold; for nature, it’s her perfect reason to make plenty of noises!
16.11.2021 – It was a beautiful start to the morning!

There’s something beautiful about nature’s glow during this time of the year; the autumn colours of the leaves and the beautiful sunlit sky bring about comfort and peace.
30.11.2021 – Nature has a beautiful way of expressing her love for the world; her autumn glow radiates visceral beauty!
December 2021
1.12.2021 – It was a cold start to the month, and Christmas finally arrived!
22.12.2021 – It was a few weeks in the making! I was away for a few weeks producing content at events in Croydon, Deptford & London, and I’m pleased to announce the launch of MN Events!
25.12.2021 – I took the opportunity to wish you all the happiest Christmas, and may you have the most wonderful New Year for 2022!
30.12.2021 – The next subject I photographed for the series is Jamie Albert Hills.
What a remarkable year it has been! It’s been a crazy, fun, emotional and productive year, and as everything slowly starts to get better with the end of the pandemic in sight, this year has been a whirlwind of a fun year overall.
2021 ends on a sad note, however, as the last Golden Girl, Betty White, has sadly passed away 17 days before she was due to celebrate her 100th birthday.
I wanted to take this opportunity to pay my respects to Betty White, and my deepest condolences go out to her and her family and friends as our Golden Girl is now in heaven, and she forever lives on in our hearts as the golden girl she truly was.
I also wanted to take this opportunity to remember Sarah Harding as she will forever live on in our hearts, and will always be remembered for being the positively inspirational musician who has positively impacted our lives and made us smile even through the most difficult times.
We’ll always love you, Betty White, and Sarah Harding!
How was your 2021? I would love to hear from all of you.
If you missed any of the content I published throughout 2021, don’t worry, as I’ve gathered together all the links to all the content published for 2021 below.
