Break My Soul / Beyoncé Is Back!

Queen Bey is back and ready to amplify Summer with a bang as she released the first record, Break My Soul, off her highly-anticipated 7th studio album, Renaissance, which is out on the 29th of July!

Beyoncé’s remarkable comeback with Break My Soul coincides perfectly with the beginning of the Summer Solstice!

Jem Aswad of Variety Magazine reported the new album, Renaissance, will include dance and country-leaning tracks with songwriting contributions from Raphael Saadiq and OneRepublic’s lead singer, Ryan Tedder.

The record contains samples of Robin S.’s legendary house-pop record, Show Me Love (1993), and Big Freedia’s 2014 track, Explode, and is such a beautiful floor-filler that you’ll find yourself immersed in the moment!

Robin S. & Big Freedia praised Beyoncé for featuring them on the record.

Robin S. appeared in an interview she did with ITV’s Good Morning Britain, sharing her gratitude for the inclusion in Beyoncé’s Break My Soul:

“This is Robin S, and this message goes out to the Queen Bey herself, Beyoncé, to Jay-Z, to the entire team. Thank you so much for giving me my flowers while I’m still alive. I am honored, and I’m excited to see what else can happen.”

Robin Stone (better known by her stage name, Robin S.)

Coming six years after her universally critically acclaimed sixth studio album, Lemonade, Beyoncé’s long-awaited comeback has paid off as Break My Soul has already gone straight in at Number 1 before the album’s release.

This record will instantly be played in nightclubs and is the anthem of the Summer because it’s so good you’ll be on your feet dancing the night away; it’s the best record I’ve ever heard!

Beyoncé’s return turns up the music and heat further as Renaissance releases next month.

It’ll boost everyone’s workouts as I know it’ll amplify my nights out and exercises!

The true significance of this exceptional record will have everybody breaking a sweat on the dancefloor because Queen Bey is a perfectionist in her music and everything she does.

Beyoncé’s perfectionism reflects in every album from her solo career she’s released as well as her passion for music. From Dangerously in Love to B-Day, I Am…Sasha Fierce, 4; her self-titled album, BEYONCÉ, including Lemonade, Beyoncé’s sound is unmatched.

This record proves her creative ability gets everyone dancing, especially now that everything has reopened after the last few years; we all want to get out and celebrate and embrace the good times, and Beyoncé’s comeback coincides perfectly with what is set to be the best Summer for us all!

Since the single was released on the 20th of June, Break My Soul has already started a dance craze after social media went into meltdown as videos surfaced online on social media apps, such as Instagram, TikTok and Twitter of people dancing to the track.

It’s no surprise that Beyoncé set social media on fire with Break My Soul, as her music is so uplifting and inspiring that she is unafraid to push and break boundaries with the music she’s released!

I cannot get enough of the record; it’s so good!

Because the new album, Renaissance, is written as act i RENAISSANCE, this fuels speculation that there may potentially be more than one act of Renaissance we see from Queen Bey!

I’m excited to hear the new album as it will unite everyone on the dancefloor and undoubtedly be the best Renaissance we need as it’ll have maximum impact!

If you enjoyed my review of Beyoncé’s new single, Break My Soul, from her new album, RENAISSANCE, which is out on the 29th of July, I would love to hear your thoughts on her record.
