Brazil 2014 World Cup | Argentina vs. Belgium (Highlights)

Following on from the match between Argentina and Belgium earlier, things definitely looked up for one certain team, as Argentina kept their cool for the whole match as it progressed. This highlights the first match of the day as it unfolded.

Argentina 1-0 Belgium

As this game progressed, there were a lot of good signs for Argentina, as they have, on some occasions, been scoring a lot of good goals recently. As they have managed to beat Belgium with a 1-0 goal strike, this has given Argentina a boost, which has made them reach their first World Cup semi-final since finishing as runners-up in 1990 with their victory over Belgium in Brasilia.

With Argentina being the ones that were sharper when it came to this match, they were more urgent in terms of their possession of the ball, meaning they were able to start quickly compared to the other sides.

Carelessness came back to bite Belgium on the bum in this match earlier, as their captain, Vincent Kompany, gave his possession of the football away too early after just 8 minutes, with the end result of Messi receiving the ball.

For the first half of the match, Belgium were lacking the effort when the ball was in their possession, and they were also not thinking their way around the match. It felt like there was not much effort put in during the first half.

The general overview of the match did seem to be atmospheric, given just how much fight both teams were putting in, as the atmosphere for the whole stadium was at an all time high, and things were looking up.

Around the last few minutes of the match, there was injury time added on as one of the players on Argentina’s team suffered an injury, but, hope was not all lost as the match continued on with both teams fighting to get through to the last few matches leading up to next Sunday’s final match.

Hopefully, with regards to Tuesday’s match between Brazil and Germany, hopefully this match will be more than just energetic than today, so let’s hope that the match on Tuesday is better for all of us.

Thank you for viewing this blog feed of the highlights :-).

Shirley Hills

Hello everyone :-)!!!

In light of the blog post I published this morning, as promised, I have added the photos of Shirley Hills that I took back in April to this blog post for your viewing pleasure. Taking these photos reminded me of just how comfortable the viewpoint was, as well as the view around me.

As I took photos when I was at the viewpoint, the sky was cloudy, but didn’t stop me from getting good photos that would highlight my trip up to Shirley Hills. The view around me was panoramic, it was surreal, it was an experience that reminded me of the London 2012 Paralympic Games. It was like a journey of London in one full view.

I really enjoyed Shirley Hills, as it was a photographical opportunity I didn’t want to miss.

Below are the photos of Shirley Hills I took, and there is also an edited version of one of the photos I took that I filtered via Instagram. Feel free to download these and keep as a wallpaper at your own will :-).

On the 1st July, an all new blog experience will take place, and a special announcement will be made on that day as well…stay tuned!

Later on, I will be publishing a blog post about the Brazil 2014 World Cup…watch this space!

Thank you for viewing this blog post :-).

HELLO EVERYONE…I’M BACK!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone, after 5 very long months of intense revision, exams and loads of coursework, I’m back!!! I have missed blogging a lot, but it just feels so good to get back into the swing of things. Thank you for all the awards and wonderful messages all of you have sent in to my blog, it has made me feel 16 years old and a true pleasure. I love you all :-).

As I begin to adjust back to blogging, I’m currently reeling from finishing school, as I finished my last ever exam on Friday 13th. There were a lot of tears as you could imagine, for me, I cried a bit on my way home from school, as the feeling hit me straight away that I was going to miss everyone. The best thing though was getting a lot of photos with everyone, even a few of the teachers, as this meant I could round off the last 5 years of going to Oasis Academy: Shirley Park on a wonderful note.

As today is my 16th birthday, I wanted to mark this wonderful occasion in thanking you all for your love and support over the year this blog has been around, and I also want to thank my two main role models, Rhys Brown and Zofia Niemtus for their support as well, as I wouldn’t have got so far in life. Thank you everyone, I couldn’t have done it without you all.

In light of the exam season that has just finished, I wanted to take the opportunity to mark an important milestone for Mother Nature | Life at the touch of a button. On Friday 6th June, Mother Nature celebrated 1 year of being around, and also celebrates my first proper year in blogging…again, thanks everyone :-).

What have I done since I’ve been away over the long hiatus?

Since I’ve been away from blogging, I took the opportunity to go to Shirley Hills in April to get some photos, and it was an absolute pleasure going there, because the weather around me was just right, the atmosphere was tranquil, meaning not only was it peaceful, but it also felt like you could live there. Just going to the viewpoint felt surreal, as the viewpoint gave me a don’t-look-down kind of moment, when you consider just how high up it really was.

As well as Shirley Hills, I revisited Kelsey Park after almost a year, and it felt like a welcome of open arms, as the weather felt heartwarming and comfortable to walk through, seeing the ducks, geese and squirrels again was an absolute pleasure, as I missed going there after a long while.

In the lead up to my last ever day of school, I have worked my absolute socks off to revise for these exams. You could say I was under a hell of a lot of stress and was tired, but, I was determined never to give up, and gave every exam 110% and made sure I fight for the grades. I wasn’t going to let the exam stress get to me, so I fought through it, and I got there in the end.

Two good top tips for those entering the exam season next year:

    • Make sure to have some food before the exam as it will keep your mind-set fresh and focused on the exams you have.
    • Always take a water bottle into the exam you have if you’re allowed, as it will prevent you getting dehydrated and worried during the exam.

To round off this blog post, I will be publishing another blog post at 3:00pm of Shirley Hills, which will talk about, almost what I’ve already mentioned in this blog post, but will go a little more in-depth.

Thank you for the long awaited blog comeback, and I will make sure to publish the Shirley Hills blog post at 3:00PM…stay tuned, as I’ve got a lot of new things to add to this blog over the next couple of weeks.

To finish off this blog post, I wanted to leave you all with this video of Cheryl Cole’s new video, it will make you want to listen to this video again and again, it’s addictive:

“Crazy Stupid Love (feat. Tinie Tempah)”

Thank you for reading this blog post, and welcome back :-)!!!!!!!!

Welcome Back to an All New Look for a Chilly 2014!!!

Hello everyone!!! Happy New Year!!! Now that 2013 has ended, a new journey begins for 2014. A cold and wet start to 2014 was expected and the New Year’s Day fireworks were amazing to watch on TV, but 2013 marks the end of an era, and the beginning of a better one.

As promised over the last few weeks running up to the last day of 2013, I would change the blog layout to the all new Twenty Fourteen theme; this new theme marks the beginning of Mother Nature in an all new light. The new name of this blog: “Mother Nature | Life at the touch of a button.” gives the blog a better focus around nature, and also focuses more on the photography of plants, insects, animals and city landscapes I’ve created for this blog overall.

Below, I have provided a set of screenshots of how the new blog theme renders for a standard computer or laptop, the iPad mini (1st Generation) and the iPod touch (5th Generation). This new look will also render the same on the iPhone 5, iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C:

These screenshots may prove handy as they show what the new Twenty Fourteen layout does and how it appears in its formal glory. I have also updated the social buttons with a newer, up-to-date look so that this blog fits in perfectly with this year.

Thank you for reading this blog post, and a Happy New Year to all of you bloggers and viewers :-)!!!

The Silhouette of Darkness, Light & Wonderwebs – Painting + Video

Hello everyone!! I have been using the Colors! application on the iPad mini I got today as a Christmas present, and created this Silhouette painting of the Rosebud in darkness, it took 15 minutes approximately to create this, as I wanted to go into a bit more detail with the clouds and the sun rays, so I made the clouds look almost completely dark to show the cloud formation, and the sun rays I wanted to blend the sky in a little more to show two different sides to the painting.

The video of yesterday’s storm is currently uploading now, so fingers crossed it doesn’t take as long as it did last night. Feel free to save the painting to your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch to use as a wallpaper.

Thank you for reading, and have a wonderful Happy Christmas!!!

A New Way to Promote Your Blog

Hello everyone!!! I was away for a few days as I was doing revision for my 2-day Mock Exam for Art at School, and also revision for my Maths Mock Exam which I had today, but thankfully the hard work is over for now and there’s no pressure in terms of work at school, which is a sign of relief.

Over the past couple of days, I wanted to come up with a way of being able to promote this blog, so I decided to create an iPod touch (5th Generation) customized skin which will promote my blog for any kind of use. I used this opportunity so the blog would be ready and prepared for 2014. Using a tripod really helped as I was able to take these photos with the camera remaining completely still, and in full, perfect focus. To create your own customized skin, here’s the link: wrappz.com

The best news I wanted to share is this blog has received 3 different nominations:

1. The Blog of the Year 2013 Award

2. The I am Part of the WordPress Family Award

3. The Very Inspiring Blogger Award

I wanted to say a massive thank you to Vijay Shah of HalfEatenMind, and also another massive thank you to petrel41 of Dear Kitty. Some Blog. As always, I will continue to post more over 2014, and make sure the new Twenty Fourteen theme is a lot easier to use. Please follow these bloggers as they both have really interesting blogs full of all the latest information you can read and they also talk about the latest events happening today, putting your life at a wonderful, comfortable ease.

Thank you for reading, and again…a massive thank you to Vijay and petrel41 :-)!!!
