A new community-based newspaper, titled: “The Word: Telling it As it Is.” launches on Friday 27th May 2016.
As the tagline: “Telling it As it Is.” suggests, this soon-to-launch community-based newspaper is aimed at focusing on the ongoing events that are occurring in day-to-day life, whilst getting straight to the point about certain topics that are being talked about, not just in the present day, but also based on what the future holds.
A good friend of mine from school approached me to announce the news of The Word, and I thought it would be nice to contribute to the launch by helping out by creating a professionalised set of logos based on the concept logo that my friend sent me just a few days ago.
This news comes as the 27th May launch date is just over a month away from now, and I wanted to make sure all of you were the first to know of this news.
The Word newspaper will cost 50p from the moment it launches on the 27th May, and it will cover the bases of the most current topics that are going each day or each week.
This is exciting news, and it sure is straight to the point with the tagline, and I believe that it will capture anyone’s attention with the logo’s bold approach.
The Word is currently being funded on the crowdfunding site, crowdfunder.co.uk, and has just 32 days to go from now. So far, £620 has been raised for this newspaper to become reality, and it has to reach £3,500 in order for The Word to become a part of reality and a part of daily life.
