Welcome to April!

Welcome to April! As the days begin to get brighter over the next few weeks and the days lasting longer, it’s safe to say that the next few weeks will not only be busier, but the time will be a little slower than usual.

As the weather is set to improve over the next few weeks, make sure you wrap up warm if the Beast from the East returns as there is a possible chance of snow, but hopefully, if we do suddenly get a blanket of snow, hopefully the wintry weather shouldn’t last too long considering that Spring is here and the warm weather is slowly but surely returning.

As there are a very busy couple of weeks ahead, it’s safe to say I won’t be publishing as much due to work, but I’ll be trying to find the time now and then over the next few weeks to see if I can publish some articles when I get the free time available. On the plus side, as Summer is approaching, it’s safe to say that the time will fly and it will be a lot warmer than last year.

Until then, Welcome to April and have a Happy Easter!

Welcome to April!

Welcome to April! As this month is set to get a little warmer now that the wintry spells have finally passed, it’s great to say that the weather is finally getting better. Despite the odd occasional showers of rain that we’ve had in the last few days, it’s fair to say that the calm has finally arrived after the storm.

As last month was full of energy considering that I had managed to get a large amount of articles in, I want to be able to continue with that energy by publishing a lot more articles over the course of this month. As last month ended on a positive, but sad note, given that the comedy legend, Ronnie Corbett, passed away yesterday at the age of 85, I had made sure to pay tribute to him after learning the news of his passing yesterday morning by publishing a tribute article that would look back on the best moments of his life when he used to star alongside his companion, also his best friend, Ronnie Barker, who passed away 11 years ago in 2005 shortly after The Two Ronnies Sketchbook show ended.

In light of the news earlier today that ITV’s This Morning Agony Aunt, Denise Robertson, passed away yesterday at the age of 83, I will be publishing very soon a tribute article where I will pay my full respects and tributes to her in light of the sad news earlier today.

Also, I wanted to let you all know that it may be difficult over the next few weeks to get more articles in, as I will be starting my Final Major Project when I’m back at college, which will be starting from the moment I go back to college. I will try, however, to get a large amount of articles in as best as I can, but please forgive me if I have trouble in doing so over the next few weeks.

There will be some cases where I will have to put my studies before anything else article-related, as this year, however energetic it has been, has also been a lot busier than the last, and I will be making sure that I can balance the time effectively between both my studies and writing articles for Mother Nature.

The tribute articles I haven’t been able to publish yet are still being worked on, and will take a lot of time, so please be patient for me as I am trying to work extra hard to get them worked on and finished. I will make sure they are published at some point, so please don’t worry too much, as I will be making sure they are done and dusted by the time they eventually get published.

Until then, Welcome to April on Mother Nature!

Madonna: Artistic Interpretation #2: The True Blue Era (1986)

As I kicked my two-week holiday off with a bang, I took the opportunity to draw the Queen of Pop songstress, Madonna, again, but this time in her True Blue era, as I saw that a lot of fans had created pieces of artwork inspired by the True Blue photograph that Herb Ritts took of her back in 1986.

This drawing took from Friday 25th March to Tuesday 29th March to complete, and has to be one of the most difficult drawings I’ve produced yet. It’s worth the time drawing, because I can finally set my creativity free after a long while. It’s amazing what a 5B pencil can produce, and I just feel so fortunate that I can draw what I’m good at.

Over the course of the few days I’ve been producing this drawing, I’ve already been asked by one of my friends upon request if I can draw them, and I will, and I recently had some feedback given that I’ve been documenting my progress of this drawing on the photo-sharing service, Instagram, and I was told by one of my Instagram followers that it was so good, and it really brought a smile to my face.

I think with this drawing I wanted it to be based around not just that era, but also around how I artistically interpret Madonna as a musician.

Artistic Interpretation 2 - Madonna - The True Blue Era (Final Version)

The final statistics of the Rebel Heart Tour that Madonna brought to a remarkable close on the 20th March show that the tour has officially grossed $169,804,336, with full attendance (1,045,479 / 1,045,479).

This is a fantastic milestone of its own that marks the end of the Rebel Heart Era on such a positive note. I also feel glad to have done this drawing freehand with the photo reference of Madonna during her True Blue Era, which was all the way back in 1986. Exactly 30 years ago. Wow! Time sure has flown.

To celebrate this milestone, I have officially uploaded and published a video of this drawing whilst it was in progress, and it will show you the progress that I have made in drawing my second artistic interpretation of Madonna, right up to the very end ☺.

If you liked my second artistic interpretation drawing of Madonna, then please feel free to submit feedback. All feedback is much appreciated and I hope you liked the drawing and the video ☺.

A Bright & Beautiful Good Friday!

As today is Good Friday, I thought it would be a great idea to take this photo of the lovely weather.

Good Friday Weather

It’s amazing how the relaxing Spring Weather is back, which has been something we have all wanted for a while. It just feels so refreshing that we get that kind of weather where it’s just right and where it’s just spot-on.

Today has been quite a lovely day, and I really hope this good weather continues.

I wanted to keep this little photo article short as I wanted to relax a little bit just for a change, considering all of the hard work I’ve been producing for my film and photography course most recently.

What have you been getting up to this Good Friday? I’d love to know what all of you have been doing today in this lovely weather .

Also, just wanted to say:
