Tropical Spring!

It was a Tropical Spring, as it’s been mostly sunny and warm, but yesterday’s weather proved that there was a tropical feeling lingering in the air.

How was the weather for you yesterday? Did it rain? Was it nice and sunny? Was it a mixture of both for you?

Please tell me. I would love to hear your responses.

Royalty’s Red Carpet of Flowers!

To continue the Royal Wedding Celebration, I seized the opportunity to photograph Mother Nature in her finest form whilst I was on my way home from work yesterday.

Mother Nature certainly blessed us with wonderful weather and for such a special occasion. Talk about a perfectly warm and sunny day, but yesterday was no different.

If you watched the Royal Wedding unfold yesterday, please tell me, as I would love to hear your thoughts on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry getting married yesterday.

Did you make the most of this wonderful weather? Please tell me, I would love to hear how you made the most of this wonderful, breezy, warm and sunny weather.

Tickled Pink!

Nature was certainly tickled Pink with the wonderful, yet breezy and sunny weather.

Below is this photo I took of one of the plants that inspired me to write about this little photo moment.

Did you enjoy the wonderful, yet breezy and sunny weather yesterday? Please tell me, I would love to know how you made the most of yesterday’s wonderful, yet warm, breezy and sunny weather.

A Beautifully Baked Bank Holiday!

Whilst making the most of the Bank Holiday with this wonderful weather, I seized the opportunity whilst I was on my way to see Avengers: Infinity War to photograph some more plants and flowers, whilst experimenting with the exposure of the photographs I produced.

You can imagine because I decided to, again, walk rather than get onboard a bus, I did catch the sun, but it was worth it considering that it was a Bank Holiday worth seizing the opportunity and getting out and enjoying the sun for.

Below is the huge collection of photographs I produced that documented the wonderfully baked Bank Holiday weather.

I absolutely enjoyed this sunny weather and it was safe to say that I made the most of the Bank Holiday weather and with Summer on the way, it’s safe to say I will be making sure to ditch the coat more often if we are going to have more of this wonderful sunny weather over the next few weeks.

Did you enjoy this wonderful Bank Holiday weather? Please tell me as I would love to hear how you made the most of your Bank Holiday while the wonderful weather was here.

Blushing Pink!

What a beautiful and wonderful day it was.

It was quiet again at work today and I’ve been enjoying the wonderful weather, and as it’s set to get warmer over the next few days, I’ll be off on Monday so I’ll be making the most of the free time while it’s available.

Here’s a photo of one of the plants that were blushing pink in this wonderful, sunny Spring weather.

Was mother nature blushing pink for you today?

Please tell me. I would love to hear your response.

May the 4th Be With You!

I felt inspired to write this today considering today reminds me of Star Wars and also because we have the lovely sunny weather.

I photographed Mother Nature in her most wonderful form on the way to work as the trees were vibrant and filled with colour, and the sunny weather gave her the chance to shine.

If you’re having a wonderful day and you’re enjoying the sunny weather and soaking in the rays of light, please tell me.

I would love to hear your responses.

Welcome to May!

Welcome to May! What a great start to the month! After a week of showers, the sunny weather came back just in time for the first day of May.

Over the course of the next few weeks, things will be so much busier than usual as I’ll be working and completing work-related documents, which means that I won’t be able to use some of the free time to publish articles, but will be making sure that full priority comes first where my job comes in, but if there is a little bit of free time available, then I will try and publish as and when I can.

Hopefully, we will get more of this lovely sunny and warm weather over the coming weeks, but if you’re a hayfever suffer, like me, you’ll be cautious of the pollen count as we approach Summer, so it’s safe to say we all need to prepare ourselves for when it gets warmer and eventually humid, as hayfever season is here, but we shan’t take hayfever season lying down.

Also, beware of pesky insects and use a bug zapper to get rid of any crane-flies and wasps if you have one because they are the worst insects. Crane-flies make my skin crawl, which is why I kill them with a bug zapper, but wasps are definitely the worst, though a can of fly and wasp killer or a bug zapper usually does the trick. Be on your guard for huge spiders because the daddy-long-legged spiders are enough to make your skin crawl, especially in warm weather.

Until then, Welcome to May!

Manic Monday

It sure was a manic start to the week! With snow over the weekend, anyone like myself getting into work was a little bit of a challenge in itself considering the roads were a little icy, but the pavements were more or less clear of the snowfall.

It was good to see the sun come out after a few days, but either way, I’m still wrapping up warm tomorrow just to be safe in the event of the snow returning to try again for some more.

It’s no wonder the transport system was experiencing total chaos over the weekend, but hopefully, the level of transport shouldn’t be too chaotic considering I’m going up to Oxford Street tomorrow, but today was a great day despite the weather.

Is it still snowing where you are? Is it raining where you are? Is it sunny where you are? I would love to hear your responses. The Bangles‘ record: “Manic Monday“, written by the late music legend, Prince Rogers Nelson, was what inspired me to write this article with the same name.

The Cold & Sunny Winds of Oxted

Despite some travel chaos with a tree that fell on the line on Saturday, with most of the trains being delayed and cancelled due to the travel disruption over last weekend and the freezing cold, the sunny weather was absolutely beautiful, and to have that little bit of warmth even after wrapping up warm made my journey to Hurst Green that extra bit special.

The travel chaos was disrupted so much that the rail replacement bus that was initially meant to be put in place once I got off at Sanderstead Station wasn’t even put into place at all, which left me and some of the passengers stranded, but luckily the workers at Sanderstead Station booked me and some of the passengers a free cab ride to make up for the rail replacement bus we never got and I was able to get to Oxted Station with no problem, which was beneficial considering I was going from that station to Hurst Green once I arrived.

On the way to Hurst Green, I couldn’t resist seizing the opportunity to quickly photograph Oxted Station and The Oxted Inn whilst I waited for the train to arrive.

Despite the freezing weather on Saturday, I was happy to have seized the opportunity to photograph the station considering it was an adventure rather than just a train journey.

What was the weather like for you on Saturday? I would love to know.

Please feel free to comment on what you thought of my photographs of my journey to Oxted and Hurst Green, and please feel free to share this article on.

A Wonderful, Breezy & Sunny Day Out in London.

It was the perfect time for me to travel up to London on the 26th September as the weather was lovely, the scenery was beautiful and on a clear day like this, it was wonderful.

Whilst I was up in London, I used the opportunity wisely to photograph certain areas of London; Borough Market was beautiful, but so was the landscape. To tell you the truth, it’s not the first time I’ve been up to London on my own as I went up to London just a few short weeks before when I was planning my route to get to Camden, which I must say is also beautiful, but the fact that it was nice and sunny gave me the perfect opportunity to seize the moment by photographing certain areas of the landscape, whilst also photographing the Shard.

Honestly, London is absolutely beautiful on a sunny day, and the 26th September was the perfect example of how sunny days should be; warm, breezy, bright and beautiful and that’s why I had a wonderful, breezy and sunny day out in London.

I experimented with the low-light features on my Nikon D3300 DSLR to see how the landscapes and portraits would appear in certain situations if it was light or dark, as this helped me to visualise the landscape differently as if it was daylight one minute and sunset the next.

Below is the full collection of photographs I produced whilst I was up in London.

It was absolutely wonderful, but busy when I went up to London towards the end of September and I was glad to have seized the opportunity to visit London at the peak of Summer.

If you ever get a chance to visit London and Borough Market in the Spring and Summer months, I suggest you do because London and Borough Market are beautiful places, and you’d be crazy to not seize the opportunity to visit London and Borough Market.

If you enjoyed my photography collection of my visit to London and Borough Market, please tell me in the comments. I would love to hear your responses.
