      1. I always notice that whenever I’m in London because everyone’s always in a happier mood when the sun’s out, and it’s refreshing when all the various restaurants are cooking up a storm that allows the general public to bask in the glory of the sunny landscape!

      2. I agree, and I remember almost three years ago I had some food to eat at Hawksmoor ahead of a night out when I was in Piccadilly Circus, and the food I had there was absolutely delicious, but I’ve found that places like Soho, Old Compton Street, Dean Street, Piccadilly Circus and Covent Garden have a lively atmosphere because there’s always a consistent buzz surrounding the community, and that, for me, elevates the mood of the landscape whenever I photograph the various architecture.

What are your favourite places in London that you love visiting? I’m curious to know which landmarks are your favourite.

      3. I have only went once actually. I live in Canada. And it was all the usual tourist spots- we were only in London for two days. Went to a wedding in Plymouth which was a beautiful town on the water.

Yeah, you would feel different things with the buzz going on around of people! Do you ever go out and photograph in pouring rain?

      4. That’s so refreshing to hear! I’ve never been to Plymouth, and I bet the wedding was awesome as well!

I occasionally photograph in the pouring rain whenever I’m in London or travelling around Croydon or other parts of the city, and I remember before the pandemic travelling up to London Victoria and it was around the last week of January 2020 that we had heavy rainfall that lasted the entire day, and I remember that week I photographed the Nova Victoria building which was one of the new builds at that time which was completed, and it was stunning even in the pouring rain.

      5. I know that the one thing that makes me enjoy the best of any sunny day in London is when there’s a hint of a breeze sweeping the landscape because I feel relaxed whenever the breeze is perfect and allows the city to stay nice and cool.

  1. Hi Alex,

I’m loving these pictures of London! They make me want to go back there. And I am smiling as I read about it being sunny there. I thought London was usually foggy, but when we were there, back in August 2019, we had glorious sunny days every day.

    1. Hi Nancy,

I’m so happy you’re loving these photos I’ve produced of London! There have been a few occasions when I’ve travelled through London where it’s been occasionally foggy, but the best thing I love about London during the sunny weather is embracing the incredible architecture and the buzz of the community around the city.

I remember August 2019 being absolutely wonderful when we had those sunny days every day because even despite the Summer heatwave that year, I found it to be one of the best months that we had sunny weather with the rare thunderstorm in between, and I love when it’s sunny out because I instantly feel elated.
