My own views on Violence and why it is never the answer.

After a formal debate that was discussed in my English lesson last Monday, I wanted to take the opportunity to share my own views on why I feel that violence is never the answer to any problems.

From my own views, I absolutely believe that violence is never the answer, because I believe that violence does not solve any problems, but just simply makes the problems a lot worse than they are, or were first imagined. The reasons why I believe that violence is never the answer is due to the fact that there is a lot of gun and knife crime, but also self-defence crimes.

It is understandable when it comes to self-defence, but if you defend yourself by being violent towards others, then you are more than likely putting yourself in a far worse position, which could, in turn, put you in the frame for something you have or haven’t done, even if it was unintentional or not.

Violence, in my own eyes, whether it would be in a war or a standard fight, doesn’t solve the problem, because violence just continues to promote violence in many worse ways than one. Why should violence be stopped? I believe that violence should be stopped for a very large number of reasons.

On the one hand, there is so much gang violence, as well as the potential for many gun crimes, given that there is a number of stabbings that are occurring almost each week, which has to be stopped, but on the other hand, however, when it comes to fighting in a war or even in just a standard fight that takes place anywhere during the time of the day, violence just brews more violence, violence of which none of us want.

How can we stop violence from becoming the biggest problem? We can stop violence by making peace with each other, and by making sure that we make peace, and not war, because peace doesn’t promote violence, peace promotes happiness and love, violence promotes violence and will only stop if we act on it now before it’s too late.

In my eyes, all of the time that there is violence involved, it acts like a stab wound, it will just keep getting bigger and bigger or bleed out the more we act violent towards others. If, for example, the femoral artery in the victim is punctured by a knife, it will keep bleeding out until the person dies, and it can only stop bleeding if someone stops it and stops the violence from going any further.

In terms of violence, we all live in fear because we fear the type of danger that may creep up on us when we least expect it. It’s a frightening thing to think about Violence, given the fact that violence can cause devastating and disastrous consequences at the end of it all. We are in a world that is not only vulnerable to violence, but a world that suffers vulnerabilities amongst other things.

To conclude, I believe that instead of seeing violence as the answer, we should all make peace with one another, not hatred or war. The world would be a whole lot safer if there was absolutely no violence at all.
