The next person I’ve photographed for the photography series is my close friend, Nathan Andrew Christopher Brady.
This photo-set follows on from the photo-set I published featuring my close friend, Patrick Connolly, as these photos were taken on New Year’s Eve during the party celebrations, and I feel these photos really capture Nathan in a personal light where he’s not only being himself, but that you can see him as he actually is, and not what you would expect of him.
I aim to capture off-guard expressions mostly as they stand out more, though one of the photos is a standard headshot photograph.

I uploaded four of the best photos out of this set to Instagram in Black & White and they went down a storm! I always aim to make sure every caption actually describes the real emotion of what the subject may be thinking so that it’s easier to understand that everyone goes through the same, if not, similar emotions.

As Mental Health is always close to my heart, I’ve learned to realise as I produce every photo-set that every real and raw emotion I capture in every photo captures the way the subjects really feel, not just how they really feel but the way they really feel too and every time I put up a photo-set, I always aim to create meaning in the photos I produce so that everyone can relate to the real, raw feelings and emotions the subject feels.
Honestly, I’m so pleased with the final result from these photographs and I hope I can produce photographs more in low-light conditions to really experiment with low-light and to really capture raw and real emotions that I can really bring to the surface.
