Hello everyone!!! Following on from Saturday’s events and results, yesterday has been a small battle for all countries competing, as every athlete representing their country is willing to go out and participate in events that are living to high expectations. Even if some or most countries get a bronze medal, silver medal or gold medal, at least every country has gone out and done all of us proud. Yesterday was a good day, and even if anyone wins or loses, all of us are proud and are willing to show our support.
Never give in, never give up, and always fight for your dreams, feel determined to get to the top. Even if you win or lose, it doesn’t matter, as you have done everyone proud, and always showed courage and constant determination along the way. Everyone is behind you showing their support no matter what happens. – Alex Smithson
I’ve just made this quote up myself, as I want to show everyone and every country around the world that I want to be supportive no matter what happens, I support all of you and always will. I’m determined that we will all get a good result in the end. There will always be a lot of hope around.
Here is a small, but quick summary which rounds off all of the highlights of the event results overall that happened yesterday as every event unfolded:
- For Bobsleigh, Great Britain came 23rd and Jamaica came 30th after 2 runs.
- In Ice Hockey, Russia were 2-0 to Slovakia (in shoot-out), while the United States of America were 5-1 to Slovenia.
- For Alpine Skiing, Kjetil Jansrud of Norwat won gold in the Super-G event.
- In Curling, GB’s men lost 7-6 to Norway, leaving them with a 5-3 record.
- Finally for Snowboard Cross, Eva Samkova (CZE) won gold, while GB’s Zoe Gillings failed to make the final.

Fantastic quote, Alex.
We wish all the athletes participating the very best in their endeavours. Let’s make it ‘medals galore!’.
