The Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games – Day 3 – Highlights + Another Little Surprising Morsel for you to Digest (2-in-1)

Hello everyone!!! Following on from yesterday’s events, today’s events were even better as more medals have been earnt, with the Olympic spirit holding high for all of us. There were some up’s and down’s in some events for some athletes though, as James Woods of Team GB suffered a hip injury on Friday, but is determined to continue doing the ski slopestyle event despite the injury from his crash in training.

In a statement released by Team GB, they said they’re doing as much as they can to “get Woods 100%”, and so far, they have said he is progressing well on his way to recovery, which is a sign of relief, and is also great to know that James Woods (a.k.a. Woodsy) is now on the mend to a speedy recovery, so hopefully Woodsy will be able to compete soon.

Below are the updated medal results from today’s events, and there are good signs showing that more medals could be expected soon in tomorrow’s events, and finger’s crossed that Team GB get more medals tomorrow and over these 2 weeks of the Sochi 2014 WInter Olympic Games:

In a surprise announcement on Twitter, Girls Aloud’s Nadine Coyle announced on Twitter today at 8:57 PM that she has given birth to a little baby girl. This news comes just months after Nadine Coyle announced via the picture social network Instagram that she was pregnant, and was also to much of surprise for everyone that Nadine and Jason Bell announced in December 2013 that they were expecting a baby girl.

I only just found out about this over an hour ago, and was amazed to hear such wonderful news that the baby girl has been born, and was amazed for it.

Today marks the start of motherhood for Nadine Coyle and also marks a start of fatherhood for Jason Bell too. I wish them all the best on the new baby girl.
